“'It’s a very proud day for club and all the staff that have worked with these players over there time with the academy,” Red Bulls U-18 head coach Simon Nee said. “Today is recognition of the dedication and commitment each player has shown to working hard each and every day to reach their potential.”


Red Bulls U-18 ended in first place in the Atlantic Division during the Fall portion of the 2015-16 season. The U-18s are currently ranked No. 4 in the nation, according to Grande Sports Academy TeamRank. New York finished 10-2-1 in the Fall with 31 points. The U-18s boast the most potent attack in the division with 39 goals scored and have allowed the third-lowest amount of goals with 16. Their goal differential of 23 is tied for the best in the division.


The New York Red Bulls maintain one of the premier youth soccer development programs in the United States, committed to identifying and developing talent in the tri-state area. All five age groups, U-12s, U-13s, U-14s, U-16s and U-18s, are consistently ranked among the top programs in the nation, and Red Bulls players make regular appearances in U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams and NCAA Division I programs.
