Open Cup Final BWP

The 2017 U.S. Open Cup Final between the New York Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City will be broadcast nationwide on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.

The match broadcast, which will be hosted at Children’s Mercy Park, will begin at 9 p.m. ET/8 CT on Sept. 20.

Sporting Kansas City has won the U.S. Open Cup. They hoisted the silverware in 2004 (as the Kansas City Wizards), 2012 (winning the Final at home) and again in 2015. The Red Bulls have finished as runners-up once in 2003 (when they were still known as the MetroStars).

The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is the oldest ongoing national soccer competition in the United States and the world's third-longest-running open soccer tournament.
