New York Red Bulls II will travel to Dillon Stadium for the first-time ever to face Hartford Athletic on August 10, with kick-off set for 1 p.m. ET.
SEVEN MATCHES UNBEATEN
NYRB II are currently on a seven-match unbeaten streak, have not lost a match since June 22, when they lost a 3-0 decision on the road against Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Since that night, NYRB II have posted a 1-0-2 record on the road. This is NYRB II’s longest unbeaten streak of the season and they will look to extend that when they arrive in Hartford.
SECOND MEETING OF THE SEASON
This will be the second meeting between the two clubs this season, with NYRB II taking all three points the first time in April at MSU Soccer Park. They won that match, 4-0. This time traveling to Hartford to play in front of their home fans will be a challenge.
ATTACKING FORCE
NYRB II are second in the USL Championship in goals scored with 51. Despite Barlow leading the club in goals with 10, they have had 12 other goal scorers this season. The newest addition was Sebastian Elney, who recorded a brace in their last match against Saint Louis FC. Elney will look to continue his good form.
