These official rules (“Official Rules”) apply to this Sweepstakes (as defined below). The New York Red Bulls General Sweepstakes Rules and Standard Terms and Condition (“General Rules”), as set forth in Attachment A, are hereby incorporated by reference and apply to this Sweepstakes. If there is a conflict between the Official Rules and the General Rules, the Official Rules shall control.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE AN EMAIL ACCOUNT TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Basic Sweepstakes Information

Name of Sweepstakes

2024 Merchandise Survey – Red Bull Jersey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”).

Promotion Periods

The period beginning at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ending at 9:30 p.m. EDT at Red Bull Arena and on the BULLevard Fan Activation area on Pete Higgins Boulevard solely prior to and during the New York Red Bulls matches played on the following dates: March 09, 2024, March 23, 2024, and April 13, 2024 (each match, a “Promotion Period”)

Eligibility

Age

Must be 18 or older. The Sweepstakes winner will be required to provide proof of name, age and address.

Residency

Must be a US resident that resides within the 75 mile radius around Red Bull Arena.

Restricted

Persons

Employees or agents of Red Bull New York, Inc., Red Bull Arena, Inc., RBNY Academy, Inc., Red Bull North America, Inc., and any of the MLS Entities and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, and prize suppliers.

To Enter:

Please complete the following steps during the applicable Promotion Period:

Scan the QR Code at the BULLShop and other kiosks in and outside of the Arena; and
Complete the survey form.

Upon completing the above steps 1–2 you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.

Entry Limits

One entry per person during the Promotion Period. In the event of multiple entries being received from the same individual only the first entry will be accepted.

Prizes and Prize Values

One (1) New York Red Bulls’ Authentic Kit Signed by Emil Forsberg to be given away on the Match on March 09, 2024 (Approximate Retail Value is $250.00)
One (1) New York Red Bulls’ Authentic Kit Signed by New York Red Bulls’ Players to be given away on March 23, 2024 (Approximate Retail Value is $300.00).
One (1) New York Red Bulls’ Authentic 2024 Kit to be given away on April 13, 2014 (Approximate Retail Value is $159.99).

Approximate retail value of all Sweepstakes’ Prizes is $709.99. Federal, state, or local taxes on the Prizes, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of the potential Sweepstakes winners.

Winner Selection Method and Odds

New York Red Bulls will conduct three (3) random drawings during each Promotion Period among all eligible entries received. There will be one (1) winner chosen on the Monday after each game during the Promotion Period with a total of three (3) winners chosen. The decisions of New York Red Bulls are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification Method

The winners will be contacted via email, text, or over the phone and will have to verify their name, age and address with a government-issued form of identification within twenty-four (24) hours following the time the New York Red Bulls sends the email or phone notification.

Winner List

For a list of the Prize Winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: 2024 Merchandise Survey – Signed Red Bull Jersey Giveaway Winner list, 600 Cape May Street, Harrison, NJ 07029. Winner list requests must be received by July 30, 2024.

GENERAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES/ STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These general sweepstakes rules/standard terms and conditions (“General Rules”) apply to all sweepstakes (each, a “Sweepstakes”) that are conducted by Red Bull New York, Inc. (“RBNY”). Each Sweepstakes may have its own specific rules which will be set forth in the official rules for that Sweepstakes (each, an “Official Rules”). The Official Rules will be posted on the applicable website. If there is a conflict between the Official Rules for a Sweepstakes and these General Rules, the Official Rules shall control.

TIME: Unless otherwise specified, the time of eligibility shall be determined by RBNY’s timekeeping systems. RBNY shall have the sole discretion in determining the timeliness of any action or inaction related to the Sweepstakes (as defined in the Official Rules).

ENTRY: Unless otherwise specified, one (1) entry per person during each Promotion Period (as defined in the Official Rules). RBNY is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected entries or entries not received regardless of cause. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been directly submitted by the authorized email account holder used to enter the Sweepstakes. The authorized email account holder is deemed to be the natural person who owns the email account. By submitting an entry and/or participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants unconditionally agree to be bound by the Official Rules, General Rules, and RBNY’s Privacy Policy as set forth below.

WINNER SELECTION: Unless otherwise specified, odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received and/or the relative performance of each participants entry. The potential prize winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these General Rules and the Official Rules.

PRIZE: Unless otherwise specified, event tickets, coupons, and vouchers given as part of any prize are subject to additional terms and conditions found on the back thereof or provided in electronic format where relevant. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, TRANSPORTATION AND LODGING ARE NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF ANY PRIZE.

All prizes are awarded “AS IS.” RBNY does not make or offer any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted at RBNY’s sole discretion. Prizes consist only of the item(s) listed in the Official Rules and are non-transferable, with no cash redemption or substitution, except at RBNY’s sole discretion. RBNY will determine all prize details (event, brand, model, size, etc.) in its sole discretion. Federal, state, or local taxes on prizes, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of the potential Sweepstakes’ winners.

Should ticket(s) be awarded as part of any prize, no refund or compensation will be paid in the event of the cancellation or delay of any portion of the ticket prize (“Event”), or any portion thereof. RBNY will be not liable if the Event, or any portion of it, is cancelled or delayed. RBNY may, in its sole discretion, attempt to reschedule for a future trip/event. Event tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. The terms and conditions of the Event tickets may govern if the Event is cancelled due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. RBNY is not responsible for, and will not replace, lost, mutilated, or stolen Event tickets, vouchers, wristbands, or certificates. Exact details, including seat locations, shall be determined in the sole discretion of RBNY.

NOTIFICATION: RBNY may require the potential prize winner to verify that he or she is the owner of the email account. The potential prize winner must respond to the notification message and provide all requested information within twenty-four (24) hours of the first contact or attempted contact from RBNY, or the prize may be forfeited. RBNY may require winner to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms and other applicable documents. All required documents must be completed and returned to RBNY within twenty-four (24) hours of the date and time listed on the documents. If a potential prize winner cannot be contacted, is disqualified, fails to timely execute and return any required forms, an alternate winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.

PUBLICITY & MARKETING: Submission of an entry and participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes permission, but not the obligation, to RBNY, Red Bull Arena, Inc., the MLS Entities, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns to use entrant’s name, identity, title, likeness, distinctive appearance, physical likeness, image, portrait, picture, photograph (whether still or moving), screen persona, voice, vocal style, statements, gesture, mannerism, personality, performance characteristic, biographical data, signature, and any other indicia or imitation of identity or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, now or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of contact information in connection with this Sweepstakes (whether or not required), including, without limitation, mailing address, phone number, and email address, during entry constitutes permission for RBNY, Red Bull Arena, Inc., the MLS Entities and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns to use entrant’s personal information for purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes. You also may opt-in to be added to RBNY’s customer database and to permit RBNY, the MLS Entities and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns to contact you in the future for promotional and other reasons. You may opt-out of receiving such communications as set forth in RBNY’s Privacy Policy (located at www.mlssoccer.com/privacy-policy), or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of RBNY’s e-mails). You understand that you are providing your information to RBNY. The information you provide to RBNY will only be used in accordance with RBNY’s Privacy Policy.

NO LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless RBNY, Red Bull Arena, Inc., MLS, SUM and the MLS Entities, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, assigns, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies (the “Released Parties”) from any claims, injury, death, losses, and/or damages that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, arising out of, or relating to, your participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activities (including, without limitation, attending the Event) and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder (including, without limitation, any misrepresentation made by you in connection with the Sweepstakes; any non-compliance by you with these General Rules or the Official Rules; claims brought by persons or entities other than the parties to these General Rules or the Official Rules arising from or related to your involvement with the Sweepstakes; acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in the Sweepstakes; any malfunction, error or other problem arising in connection with the collection, processing, or retention of entry information; or any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any winner). The foregoing includes, without limitation, any claim for personal injury, property loss or damage, or death arising in any way in connection with the Sweepstakes.

If RBNY’s use of an Entry causes RBNY to be subject to a claim by any third party (including, but not limited to, a claim of infringement), such participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties, and all persons acting by, through, under or in concert with them, against any and all damages, costs, judgments and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) which the Released Parties (or any one of them) may incur as a result of the use of your Entry.

OTHER TERMS: Decisions of RBNY on all matters related to the Sweepstakes are final and binding. RBNY reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes, or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes as determined by RBNY, in its sole discretion. RBNY reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these General Rules or the Official Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. RBNY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL MAKING ANY SUCH ATTEMPTS TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

GOVERNING LAW & MANDATORY ARBITRATION: Any disputes arising under the Sweepstakes, these General Rules, and/or these Official Rules will be governed by relevant U.S. federal statutes and regulations and the internal laws of the State of New York. RBNY and each entrant agree that any such claim or dispute between the parties, or between a party and any agent, employee, successor, or assign of the other, related to this Sweepstakes, these General Rules, and/or these Official Rules (including the applicability of this arbitration clause) shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the JAMS under its rules and procedures in effect when the claim is filed. The rules and procedures and other information, including information on fees, may be obtained from JAMS’ website (www.jamsadr.com) or by calling JAMS at 949-224-1810. Any award by the arbitrator(s) may be entered as a judgment in any court having jurisdiction.

RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY: RBNY reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected; if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these General Rules or the Official Rules; if the individual’s behavior or communication at any point is disruptive, may or does cause damage or to any person, property, or reputation of RBNY, or is otherwise not in accordance with all applicable laws and generally accepted social practices as determined in RBNY’s sole discretion.

SEVERABILITY: If any provision(s) of these General Rules or the Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions thereof will remain in full force and effect.

NO AFFILIATION WITH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATORMS: Unless otherwise specified, the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any Social Media platform or any other named or depicted people or entities. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes should be directed to RBNY.
