Evan Louro Nominated For USL Save Of The Week

As goalkeepers across the league closed in on the 200th shutout of the season over the past weekend there were numerous saves that dazzled fans in Week 20 of the 2018 regular season. Now here’s your chance to vote for the best of the five selected for this week’s USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week award.

Evan Louro - #TBRvNY, 7/28/18: Louro scrambled to make an outstanding kick-save from point-blank range on Rowdies forward Stefano Bonomo midway through the first half at Al Lang Stadium.

Kyle Reynish - #OKCvFRS, 7/25/18: Reynish produced an outstanding diving save to deny a long-range blast by OKC Energy FC’s Philip Rasmussen that was headed to the top-right corner at Taft Stadium.


Jake Leeker - #SLCvPHX, 7/28/18: Leeker’s reflexes were put to the test, but came through as he kept out a close-range finish from Phoenix Rising FC’s Chris Cortez in the big Western Conference contest at Zions Bank Stadium.


Fabián Cerda - #TULvFRS, 7/28/18: Cerda’s diving save to his left kept out a curling effort by Fresno FC’s Jemal Johnson that bent around a defender to shield the goalkeeper initially from seeing the shot at ONEOK Field.


JT Marcinkowski - #RNOvSTL, 7/28/18: Marcinkowski reacted quickly to keep out a fiercely hit free kick by Saint Louis FC’s Lewis Hilton that was pegged for the left corner of the net at Greater Nevada Field.
