New York Red Bulls II will travel to face Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Saturday, August 20, at Highmark Stadium.
The two sides will clash for the 20th time in their history, with Pittsburgh leading the all-time series 11-7-1.
Red Bulls II will play on the road for the first time since July 23 following a four-match homestand.
Giannis Nikopolidis will start in net for New York for the eighth-straight match. He is 14 minutes away from passing Wallis Lapsley for seventh in club history among goalkeepers.
For the second-straight match, the backline will be comprised of Curtis Ofori, Daniel De Leon, Hassan Ndam, and O’Vonte Mullings.
Mullings will wear the captain’s armband.
Jesús Castellano and Michael Knapp will anchor the defensive midfield.
New York’s attacking options are John Murphy, Wiki Carmona, Jordan Adebayo-Smith, and Zach Ryan.
The bench for Red Bulls II will have Lamine Conte, Arian Recinos, Erick Ruiz, and Jonathan Filipe. Derrek Chan will serve as the backup goalkeeper.
