New York Red Bulls II will make their first away trip of the 2020 season at Philadelphia Union II.  


Here are the Three Keys to the Game:
Quick Turnaround

Both clubs had matches at the weekend, which they both dropped. Each club will be looking for a needed three points. NYRB II hold the series lead with a 6-3-1 record, including a 3-2-1 away record. The last time NYRB II traveled to Subaru Park, Philadelphia Union II went up 3-1 early in the second half, but completed the three goal comeback, with the game-winner coming from Jared Stroud in the 87th minute.


Gaining Experience

NYRB II had seven players make their professional debut in the loss against Hartford Athletic on July 17. Barry Sharifi, Caden Clark, Deri Corfe, Cherif Dieye, Jake Lacava, Daniel Edelman, and Dantouma Toure all made their debuts. With the first team still in Orlando, expect these seven to be called upon again come Wednesday.


Captain Zajec

NYRB II Midfielder Kyle Zajec made his first appearance as captain for the club on July 17 against Hartford Athletic. He commanded the midfield and created four scoring chances for the team. This will be Zajec’s 23rd professional experience on Wednesday night, expect him to keep making an impact in the center of the field.
