HARRISON, N.J (September 28, 2024) – New York Red Bulls II (9-12-5, 36 pts) host New England Revolution II (4-16-6, 22 pts) on Sunday, September 29 at MSU Soccer Park for second matchup of the season between the two clubs. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLSNEXTPro.com.

New York currently sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and is coming off a big 2-0 home victory against Toronto FC II on Sunday, September 22 at MSU Soccer Park. New York opened the scoring in the 8th minute of the match when defender Copeland Berkley whipped in a cross that fell to forward Tanner Rosborough who laced a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner for his sixth goal of the season. Red Bulls II added to their lead in the 54th minute, as defender Curtis Ofori crossed the ball into the box that was headed home by forward Mohammed Sofo.

New England currently sits in 15th place in the Eastern Conference and is coming off three draws in their past four matches. Most recently a 1-1 draw against Chattanooga FC, that resulted in a 4-5 loss in penalty kicks on Saturday, September 21.

The all-time MLS NEXT Pro series between the two clubs is tied with both teams winning two matches and drawing one. The two sides last met June 14 at Mark A Ouellette Stadium where New England won the matchup 1-0. New York Goalkeeper Aidan Stokes made eight saves which ranks tied for fourth most in a single match in club history.

In four appearances against New England, midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has registered two goal contributions. New York is also undefeated at home against New England in MLS NEXT Pro play.

Following Sunday’s match, New York will travel to Chattanooga FC for MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day on October 6 at Finley Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
