New York currently sits in 12th place in the Eastern Conference and is coming off a 1-2 loss against Chicago Fire FC II on Friday, September 13 at SeatGeek Stadium. Midfielder Rafael Mosquera scored his fourth goal and recorded fifth goal contribution of the season. The Panama native has caught fire as of late, scoring two goals in his last three appearances. The two sides last met on July 28 at York Lions Stadium where Toronto won the high scoring thriller 4-3.
