HARRISON, N.J. (September 12, 2024) – New York Red Bulls II (8-11-5, 33 pts) travel to Chicago Fire FC II (8-7-9, 38 pts) on Friday, September 13 at SeatGeek Stadium for the third matchup of the season between the two clubs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

New York is coming off a 4-2 loss against Carolina Core FC on Sunday, September 1 at Truist Point Stadium. Forward Julian Hall scored his sixth goal of the season and his third goal in his last five matches. Defender Curtis Ofori netted his second goal of the season, while midfielder Steven Sserwadda tallied his first career MLS NEXT Pro assist.

Chicago sits in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 38 points. They are coming off three straight draws and shootout losses, most recently drawing FC Cincinnati 1-1 and came up short 4-3 in a shootout on September 8.

New York currently owns the all-time series against Chicago winning three matches and drawing two. The two sides last met on August 4 at MSU Soccer Park where New York won the high scoring thriller 4-3.
