HARRISON, N.J. (March 6, 2025) – New York Red Bulls II travel to Fifth Third Field on Friday, March 7 to open third MLS NEXT Pro campaign against Atlanta United 2. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLSNEXTPRO.COM.

New York is coming off a solid 2024 campaign where they finished in 11th in the Eastern Conference with 40 points and a 10-12-6 record. The group scored the third-most goals in the Eastern Conference.

In 2024, Atlanta finished 13th in the Eastern Conference with 32 points.

In eight all-time MLS NEXT Pro matchups, Red Bulls II hold the advantage with a 5-2-1 record. Matches between the two clubs have been high scoring with the sides combining for six or more goals in their last two matchups. The two sides last met July 7, 2024, at MSU Soccer Park, where New York earned a decisive 6-2 victory. Defender Juan Gutierrez, midfielder Rafael Mosquera, and forward duo of Julian Hall and Tanner Rosborough found themselves on the score sheet. Hall tallied a brace.

Forward Rosborough and midfield duo of Ibrahim Kasule and Mosquera have each tallied two goal contributions against Atlanta in their careers, which is tied for the most goals contributions against Atlanta on the current roster.
