HARRISON, N.J. (July 11, 2019)- New York Red Bulls II will return home to host Atlanta United 2 on July 13, with kick-off set for 5 p.m. ET. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRBII completed a three-goal comeback to snap a three-game winless streak against Bethlehem Steel FC on July 10. Forward Tom Barlow recorded the game-winning assist, when he found midfielder Jared Stroud on the back post to help NYRB II secure the three points. Barlow also recorded a brace in the match.
This will be the second time these two teams will meet this season. In the first meeting, NYRBII was able to go on the road and earn a 3-1 victory, with goals coming from NYRB II defender Edgardo Rito, forward Sebastian Elney, and midfielder Kyle Zajec.
Atlanta United 2 were defeated, 2-1, by Loudoun United FC at home. Atlanta is currently on a four-match losing streak, which started against NYRBII back on June 7. Laurence Wyke currently leads the team with two goals.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRBII will travel on the road to face Memphis 901 FC at AutoZone Park on July 20, with kick-off set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
