HARRISON, N.J. (May 29, 2019) – New York Red Bulls II will look to snap a two-game losing streak when they host Bethlehem Steel FC on Friday, May 31, with kick-off set for 7 p.m. ET. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRB II suffered their second straight loss to North Carolina FC last Friday night. Midfielder Jared Stroud recorded his fifth goal of the season in the 2-1 defeat.
NYRB II holds a series advantage over Bethlehem Steel FC with a 4-3-1 record. The last time these two clubs faced off against each other, former NYRB II forward Stefan Bonomo recorded a brace, but two late goals from the Steel allowed each team to take a point.
Bethlehem Steel FC are coming off a 2-2 draw against Louisville City FC last Sunday afternoon. The Steel are bringing a six-match winless streak, which started on April 13. The Steel are currently in 10th place in the Eastern Conference with a total of 13 points.
Following Friday’s match, NYRB II will travel to take on Atlanta United 2 on June 7, with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
