HARRISON, N.J. (April 18, 2019) – New York Red Bulls II will host Loudoun United FC on April 20 at MSU Soccer Park. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRB II look to extend their winning streak to four matches, after defeating Hartford Athletic on Wednesday night. Jared Stroud, Tom Barlow, Derrick Etienne, Jr, and Chris Lema all scored goals in the victory. Barlow now has six goals in five matches, which is third in the USL Championship.
NYRB II and Loudoun will face off for the first time on Saturday. This is the third USL Championship club in their first season that NYRB II has faced this season.
Loudoun United FC is coming off a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ottawa Fury S.C. Griffin Yow leads the team with one goal scored in three appearances. Loudoun United currently sits in sixteenth place in the Eastern Conference with 2 points.
NYRB II have started the season unbeaten in five straight matches. They set a new club record for best start to a season with a 4-0-1 mark, which was previously set by the 2016 squad (3-0-2).
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will return home to face Indy Eleven on Sunday, April 28, with kick-off set for 5 p.m. ET.
