NYRB II are coming off of a 2-0 loss to North Carolina FC at WakeMed Soccer Park. They are currently on a four-match winless streak.
NYRB II breezed past Birmingham when they met for the first ever time in May at MSU Soccer Park. A brace from Mathias Jørgensen along with goals from Sean Nealis, Tom Barlow, and Derrick Etienne Jr lifted the club to a 5-0 victory.
This matchup is rescheduled from the April 6 game that was abandoned in the 17th minute due to severe weather.
Birmingham have won just once in their last five outings, settling for a point in a scoreless draw with the Charleston Battery. Birmingham currently sit just above the playoff line in 10th place. J.J. Williams leads the team with seven goals scored in eighteen games.
