HARRISON, N.J. (July 20, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II will make their first away trip of the season, when they head to Chester to play Philadelphia Union II on July 22. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at Subaru Park with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II will be looking for their first win of the 2020 USL Championship season after dropping their first contest in the return to play against Hartford Athletic. Barry Sharifi, Caden Clark, Deri Corfe, Cherif Dieye, Jake Lacava, Dantouma Toure, and Daniel Edelman all made their professional debuts in the match.
The last time these two sides met, NYRB II defeated Philadelphia Union II at Subaru Park, 4-3, after NYRB II completed a three-goal comeback in the second half. NYRB II holds the all-time series lead with a 6-3-1 record.
This will be Philadelphia Union II’s second match of the return to play after they fell at home to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, 6-0.
Following Wednesday’s match, NYRB II will return to Red Bull Arena to face the leaders of Group F, Pittsburgh Riverhounds on July 26, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. ET.
