HARRISON, N.J. (August 8 ,2019) – New York Red Bulls II will head on the road to face Hartford Athletic at Dillon Stadium for the first time ever on August 10, with kick-off set for 1 p.m. ET.
NYRB II are currently on a seven-match unbeaten streak that stems back to June 29. They most recently defeated Saint Louis FC, 2-0, on August 2, with forward Sebastian Elney recording a brace. Goalkeeper Evan Louro tallied his second straight clean sheet with two saves on the night.
NYRB II defeated Hartford Athletic in the first-ever meeting between the two clubs on April 17, 4-0. NYRB II received goals from Jared Stroud, Tom Barlow, Derrick Etienne, Jr., and Chris Lema. Ryan Meara recorded his first clean sheet of the season in the match.
Hartford Athletic are coming off a 4-0 defeat to Nashville SC on Wednesday. They are currently in 17th place in the Eastern Conference and have a 2-5-3 record at home. Forward Jose Angulo leads the team with four goals scored.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will return home to take on Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on August 14, with kick-off set for 7 p.m. ET.
