HARRISON, N.J. (September 3, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II will welcome Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC to Red Bull Arena on Saturday, September 5. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II are coming off a 3-2 win over Loudoun United FC, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Forward Jake Lacava recorded a first half brace, which included his first professional goal. Midfielder Caden Clark provided an assist and the game-winner to help NYRB II secure three points on the road.
The last time the two clubs met, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC defeated NYRB II, 4-1, at Highmark Stadium on August 8. NYRB II won the first meeting of the season at Red Bull Arena, with midfielder Deri Corfe scoring the game-winning penalty kick in second half stoppage time.
Pittsburgh are currently first in group F with a total of 19 points. They most recently defeated Loudoun United FC, 3-1, on Tuesday, September 1.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will host Philadelphia Union II on Wednesday, September 9, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m. ET.
