New York Red Bulls II have secured a spot in the 2019 USL Championship Playoffs, but with one more match against Loudoun United FC, their seeding going into the postseason is still in the air. The match on Saturday kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
NYRB II claim No. 4 seed, host playoff game vs. Tampa Bay or Louisville
NYRB II can claim the No. 4 seed and host a playoff match if NYRB II defeat Loudoun United FC and the Tampa Bay Rowdies lose to Hartford Athletic. They would then either face Tampa Bay Rowdies or Louisville City FC, depending on the result of their match.
Or, NYRB II can secure a home match with a draw, paired with a Rowdies loss and a Louisville draw or loss.
NYRB II stay as No. 5 seed, play on the road vs. Tampa Bay or Louisville
NYRB II will remain in the No.5 spot if they defeat Loudoun United on Saturday, while Tampa Bay Rowdies would have to defeat Hartford Athletic.
NYRB II fall to No. 6 seed, play on the road against Indy Eleven.
If both teams win or draw, while NYRB II loses at Loudoun, NYRB II would fall to sixth seed and would head to face No. 3 seed Indy Eleven in the USL Championship Quarterfinals.
