HARRISON, N.J. (January 27, 2025) - New York Red Bulls II and all MLS NEXT Pro clubs announced their 2025 schedule for the upcoming season. The schedule consists of 28 matches over 30 weeks, all of which are against fellow Eastern Conference clubs spanning from season opener on March 7 to Decision Day on October 5.
MLS NEXT Pro action returns to MLSNEXTPro.com, with select matches on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
New York will kick off their third MLS NEXT Pro campaign with a two-match road trip. They’ll travel to Fifth Third Bank Stadium on March 7 for the season opener against Atlanta United 2 at 7:30 P.M. E.T. on MLSNEXTPro.com, followed by a trip to Subaru Park on March 17 for a Monday night bout against the reigning Eastern Conference Champions Philadelphia Union II at 7:00 P.M. ET. on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
There will be three editions of the New York Derby. The first matchup against NYFCFC II will be the home opener at MSU Soccer Park on March 30 at 5:00 P.M. E.T. They’ll then travel to St John’s University for a Friday night bout on May 9 at 7:30 P.M. E.T. The final regular season matchup between the two sides will be on July 20 at 7:00 P.M. E.T. at MSU Soccer Park.
The group will be at home for a 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference Quarterfinals rematch against Chicago Fire FC II on April 6 at 5:00 P.M. E.T.
The boys in red will host first-ever home matchup against Carolina Core FC at MSU Soccer Park on May 4 at 5:00 P.M. ET.
New York will return home for a 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference Semifinals rematch against New England Revolution II on May 18 at 5:00 P.M. E.T.
Red Bulls II will be away from home for three out of five matches in July. The group will travel north of the border to York Lions Stadium to face Toronto FC II on July 11 at 7:00 P.M. E.T. They’ll wrap up July on a two-match road trip to Chicago FC II on July 27 at 2:00 P.M. E.T. and Columbus Crew 2 on July 31 at 6:00 P.M. E.T.
August is the month of MSU Soccer Park, with three out of four matches being played at home. It will start with a home match against Philadelphia Union II on August 11 at 7:00 P.M. E.T. Then, there will be a two-match homestand against Chicago Fire FC II on August 24 at 7:00 P.M. E.T. and Columbus Crew 2 on August 31 at 5:00 P.M. E.T.
Red Bulls II’s regular season campaign will conclude on October 5 with a Decision Day home matchup against Toronto FC II at 1:00 P.M. E.T.
Playoffs will begin the weekend of October 17 with the same Pick-Your-Opponent format. Eight teams will qualify for the playoffs from each conference, with Seeds No. 1-4 selecting their opponents in the first round. The team with the highest remaining seed in each conference will then pick their opponent for the second round from the remaining three teams.
