HARRISON, N.J. (October 5, 2018) - New York Red Bulls II (10-8-13, 43 points) make their way to Cary, North Carolina for their second-to-last road match of the season, facing North Carolina FC (12-11-8, 44 points) Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRB II are currently on a three-game unbeaten run, all draws, as they push for a USL Eastern Conference Playoffs position.
In 10th place, but just one point out of eighth, NYRB II face a near must-win scenario with NCFC sitting one spot above in the table and just three games left in the regular season.
NYRB II will be without Jose Aguinaga as he serves a one-game suspension following a straight red card issued to him in last week’s 1-1 draw at Nashville SC.
NCFC enter Saturday’s match having won three of their past four matches to climb up the table.
Both sides played to a 2-2 draw at MSU Soccer Park back in August.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II finish off their four-game road trip in at Penn FC on Tuesday, October 5.
