HARRISON, N.J. (January 9, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II and the USL Championship unveiled the 2020 schedule today. NYRB II will embark on a 34-match campaign in search of their sixth-consecutive playoff appearance. The season will open on March 7 against Tampa Bay Rowdies at MSU Soccer Park on the campus of Montclair State University
While they will open their season against Tampa Bay on March 7, they will end their regular season on October 17 at Hartford Athletic. They will play Tampa Bay and Hartford three times each during the regular season.
NYRB II will host two straight matches at MSU Soccer Park to start the year. NYRB II will play three home matches in the months of March and May. NYRB II tied the club record for most wins at home in a single season, posting an 11-3-3 record in 2019.
The longest road trip of the season is three games, with NYRB II visiting Atlanta United 2, Saint Louis FC, and Indy Eleven over 11 days in late September.
They will travel to face newcomers, Miami FC, on August 15, and host them at MSU Soccer Park on October 2.
