HARRISON, N.J., (December 10, 2014) – No players from the New York Red Bulls were selected in the 2015 MLS expansion draft on Wednesday afternoon. The draft, which was broadcast live on the MLSSoccer.com, took place to help the league’s new franchises, Orlando City SC and NYC FC, fill out their rosters. Both new clubs utilized all 10 rounds of the draft to add MLS talent to their rosters.
Next up in the MLS off season will be the re-entry draft, for players that have league experience but are not currently under contract. The first stage of the re-entry draft will take place on Friday afternoon.
