Aaron Long was named to MLS Team of the Week, presented by Audi. Bradley Wright-Phillips was given the nod for the bench.
Long scored in the New York Red Bulls 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. Long's goal came off a corner kick, flicked on by Tim Parker and headed -- bar-down -- into the net. He celebrated with Wright-Phillips' patented heel clicks.
Wright-Phillips added a goal of his own, finishing off a rebound off his own header, from an incredible angle.
Long joined the United States Men's National Team in camp ahead of their games against Colombia and Peru.
Long, Wright-Phillips and the Red Bulls return to action on Sunday, October 21 against the Philadelphia Union in Pennsylvania.
