New York Red Bulls midfielder and captain Emil Forsberg has been named to Major League Soccer's Team of the Matchday.
Forsberg scored his first goal of the season for New York, a curling shot from 18 yards out that found the side netting, en route to a 2-0 victory over Nashville SC.
The Swedish international has recorded six goal contributions in his last five MLS regular season matches.
New York have posted a 10-3-3 mark in home openers since Sports Illustrated Stadium opened in 2010. RBNY have recorded 481 points at home since 2010, the most in MLS.
New York heads to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face off against Atlanta United FC on Saturday, March 8.
