Bradley Wright-Phillips Named to 2018 Concacaf Best XI

New York Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips has been named to the 2018 Concacaf Awards Male Best XI.


BWP notched three goals in the 2018 Concacaf Scotiabank Champions League, en route to a semifinals appearance with the Red Bulls, including a victory in Mexico against Club Tijuana. Wright-Phillips added three assists in Concacaf play, as well.


Wright-Phillips is joined by fellow MLS players Michael Bradley and Sebastian Giovinco, both of Toronto FC, and Francsico Calvo, from Minnesota United FC, on the Best XI. The Mexican National Team leads the way with five selections in the 2018 Concacaf Men’s Best XI (Hirving Lozano, Hugo Ayala, Edson Alvarez, Hector Herrera and Andres Guardado).
