INSIDE THE 18: Red Bulls, Orlando Battle Again in Florida

The New York Red Bulls are down in the Sunshine State to take on Orlando City SC on Saturday afternoon.

New York will deploy Tim Parker, Noah Eile, Omar Valencia and Dylan Nealis along the back line. Carlos Coronel starts in goal for RBNY.

This will be the 23rd overall regular season meeting between New York and Orlando, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 10-8-4 mark.

In their last five matches in MLS competition at Inter&Co Stadium, New York has posted a 3-1-1 mark, including their most recent win at the venue in the 2024 Eastern Conference Final.

Felipe Carballo starts for the second match in a row, paired with Ronald Donkor and Peter Stroud in the midfield. Donkor starts for the first time this season.

Emil Forsberg, Serge Ngoma and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting push the attack.

Choupo-Moting scored his third MLS goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Chicago. Choupo-Moting has recorded a goal contribution in four-straight matches, which is the most by a Red Bulls player since 2023. The Cameroon international scored his first career MLS goal in New York’s first match against Orlando City SC this season on March 15.

Off the bench, Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will have Wiktor Bogacz, Wiki Carmona, Dennis Gjengaar, Alexander Hack, Julian Hall, Cameron Harper, Sean Nealis and Mohammed Sofo available. A.J. Marcucci is the backup goalkeeper.

Daniel Edelman took a knock in training and will miss the match. Marcelo Morales, Raheem Edwards, Kyle Duncan and Lewis Morgan remain sidelined.
