After a standout clean sheet performance against New England, which helped the Red Bulls secure a 1-0 victory at Gillette Stadium on April 2, Carlos Coronel was named as the starting goalkeeper in the MLS Team of the Week.
In the road victory over the Revolution, Coronel made five saves for his first clean sheet of the season. Saturday's result was also Coronel's 40th career clean sheet across all of his senior appearances.
Coronel becomes the third Red Bulls player to be in the Team of the Week so far this season, and the second to be featured as a starter.
Lewis Morgan was a starter in the MLS Team of the Week as a starter after his first-half hat trick performance against Toronto in week two of the MLS season.
Patryk Klimala was also a member of that team as a member of the bench after his three-assist performance in RBNY's 4-1 road victory.
