Growing up in São Paulo, Brazil, soccer has always been everything to me. This sport has been a constant presence throughout my life and continues to follow me wherever I go. Through playing soccer, I developed my most meaningful relationships, found a way to truly express myself, and experienced the highs and lows that shaped my character. It made me the person I am today.
After graduating from college, I wasn’t sure what my future held, but I knew one thing: this sport would be at the heart of it. That’s when I discovered coaching. Coaching not only became an incredibly rewarding path but also provided me with a platform to positively impact the lives of others. It allowed me to share the passion I’ve always had for this sport, hoping that it might one day shape others the way it shaped me.
Being part of the New York Red Bulls Youth Programs has been an amazing privilege and an incredible journey. I still remember the moment I first stepped into the Red Bull Training Facility and met the team of coaches. I knew right then that I was heading in the right direction—this was where I was meant to be. The talented coaches here bring diverse ideas and perspectives to the game and meeting them has opened my eyes to what this sport can truly be and how much it means to everyone involved.
I hope to inspire the players I coach to see this sport through new lenses, to truly understand its essence, and to hopefully fall in love with it just as I did.
