Dante Vanzeir and Sean Nealis were named to MLS Team of the Matchday, while Head Coach Sandro Schwarz was named Coach of the Matchday, presented by Audi.
Vanzeir scored the game-winning goal and added an assist to his league-leading total in New York’s 2-1 victory over FC Cincinnati over the weekend.
Nealis, tabbed for the Team of the Matchday bench, helped RBNY to a victory in Ohio. Cincinnati entered the match on an eight-match unbeaten run in MLS regular season play, with their last loss also coming against New York last October.
Schwarz is named MLS Coach of the Matchday for the first time in his first season at the helm of New York. The Red Bulls are currently atop the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield standings through seven matches, five of which have come on the road for New York.
