The New York Red Bulls and CF Montréal match up on Wednesday night at Stade Saputo for a midweek MLS match.
Ronald Donkor makes his first MLS start in the midfield, alongside Daniel Edelman, Cameron Harper and Wiki Carmona.
This will be the 26th overall regular season meeting between New York and Montreal with the Red Bulls holding the advantage with a 13-10-2 mark. The Red Bulls will be looking for their first result in Montreal since August 31, 2022.
Dante Vanzeir and Elias Manoel get the nod up top.
Along the backline, John Tolkin, Dylan Nealis, Noah Eile and Sean Nealis are on the pitch for the first whistle. Ryan Meara starts in goal.
Montreal have allowed 35 goals this season, which is the most in the Eastern Conference, while New York have scored 29 goals this year, which is the second-most in the Eastern Conference.
Off the bench, Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will have Frankie Amaya, Cory Burke, Kyle Duncan, Bento Estrela, Dennis Gjengaar, Julian Hall, Aidan O’Connor and Andrés Reyes available. AJ Marcucci will be the backup goalkeeper.
Emil Forsberg, Peter Stroud, Roald Mitchell and Serge Ngoma miss the match due to injury.
