New York Red Bulls II will host Memphis 901 FC on Wednesday, August 3, at MSU Soccer Park.
United States U-15 Youth National Team defender Davi Alexandre will make his professional debut, joining Curtis Ofori, Daniel De Leon, and O’Vonte Mullings in the match. Mullings will wear the captain’s armband for the second-straight match.
Jesús Castellano and John Murphy will make up the defensive midfield, with Murphy making his 10th start of the season.
The attacking options for New York will consist of Jonathan Filipe, Caden Clark, Steven Sserwadda, and Zach Ryan. Filipe will be making his first start since June 25 at El Paso Locomotive FC.
Giannis Nikopolidis will make his fifth-straight start in net, which marks the longest for a New York goalkeeper this season.
The bench for Interim Head Coach Ibrahim Sekagya will have Derrek Chan, Christopher Cragwell, Erick Ruiz, Michael Knapp, Nathan Worth, Wiki Carmona, and Jordan Adebayo-Smith.
