After their 4-1 victory against Inter Miami CF, the New York Red Bulls return to Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

End Home Winning Drought
New York will head into Sunday night’s game after losing its last three home games and failing to score. The win against Miami couldn’t have come at a better time because Danny Royer netted his third goal of the season and Brian White became the first striker to grab a goal for the Red Bulls this season.
Interim Head Coach Bradley Carnell was able to give players like Kaku, Royer, Sean Nealis, Cristian Cásseres Jr. and Kyle Duncan some rest in Wednesday night’s game.
Overall, the Red Bulls are 9-1-0 at home versus the Impact and have outscored their opponent, 29-10 at Red Bull Arena.
Maintain Same High Energy Showed in Fort Lauderdale
Against Inter Miami CF, the Red Bulls created ten shots, five of them on target. In the central midfield role, Florian Valot created two key passes, one big chance, got three tackles and two interceptions.
His efforts alongside those shown from youngsters like Jared Stroud, Ben Mines, Omir Fernandez and Mathias Jørgensen helped New York get its biggest win so far in 2020.
Twenty-three-year-old Mandela Egbo scored his first MLS goal from the penalty spot, while Dru Yearwood got his third straight start and played 56 minutes.
“I think you could tell from the reactions of the goals, the guys were excited that we’re now scoring goals again,” said White after the win. “There’s been a lot of pressure on us to score more goals, and really finish games off. I think that kind of pressure kind of exploded a little bit. Guys were really enjoying the win tonight. Hopefully, we can build off that and keep winning games.”
Montreal Has Conceded 10 Goals in Last Three Games
Just like FC Cincy headed into Red Bull Arena after not celebrating a single win since the MLS is Back Tournament, the Montreal Impact will arrive at Sunday's game in a similar scenario.
The Impact have lost three in a row and conceded ten goals along the way. They’re currently in eight place in the Eastern Conference with 16 points, just one below New York.
