The New York Red Bulls return to Red Bull Arena to host Orlando City after two away matches in Atlanta and Connecticut. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Honda:
Return to Winning Ways at RBA
In their last meeting at home, New York lost 2-1 to Inter Miami CF. It took a well-executed Gonzalo HiguaĂn free-kick to give the result to the visiting side.
Before that home defeat, the Red Bulls defeated Montreal Impact 4-1, with a Tom Barlow brace taking the headlines.
With five games left in the regular season, three of them at RBA, plus one against crosstown rivals NYCFC at Yankee Stadium, getting positive results at home will be key for New York as it seeks to climb the standings in the Eastern Conference.
Keep Showing Same Defensive Composure
After two tough visits to Atlanta and Toronto FC, New York picked up four of six possible points, and only conceded once during 180 minutes played.
Keeping that same defensive composure will be important on Sunday against an Orlando City side that’s tied for 5th in MLS with 29 goals scored.
Orlando City Arrive to RBA After Draws Against NYCFC and Atlanta
After their 3-1 home win against the Red Bulls several weeks ago, the Lions haven’t won a game. Since then, they’ve grabbed two draws -- 0-0 vs. Atlanta United and 1-1 vs. NYCFC.
Orlando City are currently on an 11-game unbeaten streak. Their current top goalscorer is Chris Mueller with eight goals.
