Jet Lag?
The Red Bulls have been on an arduous stretch of matches that have taken them to all edges of the county. Across all competitions, Wednesday’s match against Inter Miami will be their eighth in the month of May.
New York is coming off a Seattle trip and now find themselves all the way in down in Miami, Florida.
Will the miles and match congestion take its toll on the Red Bulls, or can they pull through and leave Florida with three points?
School’s Out for Summer
Wednesday’s match against Miami and Saturday’s matchup with Orlando City will lead into an 18 day break for the Red Bulls.
Against a team that is at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, one might think this would be a lookahead spot for New York.
Despite Miami’s league position, they have four wins at DRV PNK Stadium, and shut out the Red Bulls in last year’s matchup.
This is definitely not a team, and an away atmosphere, to take lightly.
Ready for Reinforcements
Key players like Luquinhas, Frankie Amaya, Lewis Morgan and Kyle Duncan are all seeing their names taken off the injury report and are on their way back to playing crucial minutes for the Red Bulls.
Luquinhas has already made two appearances for New York since his return from injury, but additional reinforcements would be greatly appreciated from a Red Bulls squad with a lot of minutes and miles on their legs.
