The New York Red Bulls (7-12-9, 30 pts.) host Austin FC (9-13-6, 33 pts.) on Wednesday, September 20 at Red Bull Arena for Noche Latina. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Dre Cordero will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Jamie Watson on the English side, Oscar Salazar will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Carlos Suarez on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

This will be the second meeting between New York and Austin with the Red Bulls winning the only matchup between the two sides, which took place last season on July 24, 2022. New York won the match, 4-3, with game-winning goal coming from forward Tom Barlow.  Austin FC is currently winless in their last seven matches across all competitions, with their last MLS victory coming on July 15 against Sporting KC.

New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 28th career shutout for the Red Bulls in New York’s 0-0 draw against NYCFC on September 16. Coronel has now recorded seven MLS shutouts this season and nine across all competitions. He most recently made his first career cap for Paraguay on September 7, where he posted a shutout in a 0-0 draw against Peru. Coronel posted three saves in the victory over Austin FC last season.

This will be the first time that Austin FC will have played a match at Red Bull Arena. This season, New York has posted a 9-4-6 mark across all competitions at Red Bull Arena. Since Head Coach Troy Lesesne took over on May 8, the Red Bulls have gone 8-3-3 across all competitions at Red Bull Arena. New York are 3-1-1 in their last five home matches across all competitions.   

Following Wednesday’s match, New York will head to Washington, D.C. to battle Atlantic Cup rival D.C. United on Saturday, September 23 at Audi Field.
