The New York Red Bulls (11-13-10, 43 pts.) hosts Charlotte FC (10-11-13, 43 pts.) on Wednesday, October 25 for the Wild Card match of the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Callum Williams will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Calen Carr on the English side, Oscar Salazar will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Tony Cherchi on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

This will be the sixth career match between the two clubs across all competitions, with New York holding the advantage with a 2-1-2 mark, including a 2-0-1 record at home against Charlotte FC. This will be the first time that New York have played Charlotte FC in the postseason and the club has posted a 3-0-0 mark in Wild Card matches in franchise history. The Red Bulls come into the match on a three-game winning streak and have won four of their last five matches, while Charlotte FC are coming off a 1-0 victory against Inter Miami CF to help them qualify for their first-ever postseason.

New York Red Bulls defender John Tolkin scored the game-winning goal in the Red Bulls 1-0 win over Nashville SC to help the club secure their 14th consecutive playoff appearance, which is the longest postseason streak in MLS history. Tolkin scored off a penalty kick in the 94th minute, he has now recorded three MLS goals this season, two of which have been game-winning goals in the 75th minute or later. The Chatham, N.J. native set a new franchise record for most points (3 G, 8 A) by a defender in a single season across all competitions. He will be seeking his 100th career appearance across all competitions for the club.

Following Wednesday’s match, the winner will advance to the Round One of the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs to face off against 2023 Supporters Shield winners, FC Cincinnati.
