This will be the 81st overall regular season meeting between New York and Columbus, with the Crew holding the advantage with a 34-33-13 mark. Vanzeir has posted three goal contributions in his last five MLS matches. He also has scored in back-to-back matches at Red Bull Arena. The Belgium international has posted 14 goal contributions this season, which includes 10 assists. He is the first Red Bulls player since 2018 to record double-digit assists in a season and the first forward to do so since 2014.
Following Saturday’s match, the Red Bulls will await final results from MLS Decision Day to see their placement in the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs.
