The New York Red Bulls take a 1-0 lead into Game 2 of Round One against the Columbus Crew on Sunday, November 3 at Red Bull Arena.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Toyota:
Brick Wall
Carlos Coronel recorded eight saves in the Game 1 victory, which tied his single-game career best. Coronel tied Ryan Meara (2020) for second in franchise history for the most saves in a single playoff match.
The Paraguayan international recorded his 54th win across all competitions for the club, which tied him with Tony Meola for second place in franchise history in wins across all competitions.
New York will need Coronel at his best, again, in Match 2.
Speed Demon
Lewis Morgan was the fastest man on the pitch in Match 1, hitting a top speed of 21.45 miles per hour. His speed and movement - on- and off-the-ball - helped push the ball into Columbus’ final third all night long.
Morgan and the Red Bulls will need that speed on Sunday at 4:30 PM.
First 15,000 fans get a RED RUNS ON rally towel.
Everywhere Edelman
Daniel Edelman was everywhere on the pitch last time out, covering 8.5 miles of distance. He covered more than a mile more than any other player across either club.
Paired with Felipe Carballo in the midfield, the two defensive midfielders clogged up the middle and forced The Crew out to the wings for crosses.
The two central midfielders better be ready to run just as much on Sunday afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 PM ET on Sunday, November 3 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
The first 15,000 fans will receive a free RED RUNS DEEP rally towel, with all doors opening at 3 PM ET. The BULLevard begins at 1 PM, with celebrations and activations for fans of all ages.
Red Bulls Radio
Listen to every match, live, on New York Red Bulls Radio! Veteran soccer play-by-play voice Matt Harmon will handle the broadcasts alongside former MetroStars and Red Bulls standout Steve Jolley providing color commentary.
