The New York Red Bulls (10-4-11, 41 pts.) head to Bank of America Stadium for a battle with Charlotte FC (10-8-7, 37 pts.) on Saturday, August 24. This will be the sixth overall regular season meeting between New York and Charlotte with the Red Bulls holding the advantage with a 2-1-2 mark. The Red Bulls are currently on an eight-match regular season unbeaten streak, which is the first time since 2021. New York defeated Charlotte FC, 3-1, on May 29 at Red Bull Arena, which saw captain Emil Forsberg score his first-career MLS multi-goal game. Charlotte FC are currently on a three-match unbeaten streak in league play and are winless in their last three matches at home across all competitions. New York are also currently on a five-match unbeaten streak against Charlotte FC across all competitions.

Forward Elias Manoel has scored six goals and has tallied one assist against Charlotte FC in his five career appearances across all competitions. This includes scoring the lone goal in a 1-1 draw against Charlotte the last time the two teams faced each other at Bank of America Stadium. Manoel has recorded four goal contributions in his last seven appearances across all competitions.
