MATCH PREVIEW, pres. by Toyota: Red Bulls Welcome Orlando City SC to Red Bull Arena on Pride Night

The New York Red Bulls (7-3-5, 26 pts.) welcome Orlando City SC (4-6-5, 17 pts.) to Red Bull Arena on Saturday, June 1 for the club’s annual Pride Night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Nate Bukaty will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Devon Kerr on the English side, while Sergio Ruiz will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Walter Roque on the Spanish side. This will be the 22nd overall regular season meeting between the two clubs with New York holding the advantage with a 9-8-3 mark against Orlando. The Red Bulls have lost their last two home matches against Orlando City SC but are coming in on a nine-match home unbeaten streak across all competitions, which is tied for the fourth-longest in franchise history. New York have scored three-plus goals in consecutive home matches for the first time since 2022. The Red Bulls have become the second team in franchise history to go unbeaten in the club’s first six home matches to begin a season.

Red Bulls Captain Emil Forsberg scored his first career multi-goal MLS match in New York’s 3-1 win over Charlotte FC on Wednesday night. Forsberg has now scored six goals this season, which ranks tied for seventh in MLS by a midfielder. He has recorded four of those goals at Red Bull Arena and has tallied five goal contributions in his last five MLS matches. He is seeking his first career appearance against Orlando City SC.

Following Saturday’s match, New York heads to Gillette Stadium to face off against the New England Revolution on Saturday, June 8.
