MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: RBNY Grabs First Road Win in Orlando

The New York Red Bulls defeated Orlando City SC 1-2 on Saturday night and captured their first road win of the present season.

It didn’t take long for Cristian Cásseres Jr. to score his second goal against Orlando City this season. In the 6th minute, the Venezuelan took a left-footed rip to score his fourth goal of the season.

Close to the end of the first half, goalkeeper Carlos Coronel made a huge penalty save to keep the 0-1 lead at Exploria Stadium.

Gerhard Struber’s first substitution saw Frankie Amaya take the field for Wiki Carmona. The second one saw Omir Fernandez taking the field for Dru Yearwood.

In the 59th minute, Orlando’s Chris Mueller leveled things up 1-1.

In the 79th minute, Fábio netted his second career MLS goal to give RBNY the 1-2 victory

The Red Bulls head back to Red Bull Arena to host the Philadelphia Union on Thursday.
