The New York Red Bulls lost, 1-0, against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night. The Union’s Cory Burke scored the lone goal of the night early in the match.

New York’s first substitution in the game saw Tom Edwards take Amro Tarek’s place, making his first MLS appearance, in the first half. Tarek had to step off the pitch due to injury.

To start the second half, Patryk Klimala came onto the field for Danny Royer. The Polish striker made his MLS debut.

Klimala created several high-quality offensive plays that almost got New York on the scoresheet.

Omir Fernandez, Dru Yearwood and Cameron Harper also came onto the field replacing Caden Clark, Fábio and Frankie Amaya.

Towards the end of the match, Yearwood saw a second yellow card, which led to his sent-off.

The Red Bulls travel to New England next Saturday.
