The New York Red Bulls went down early against CF Montréal and went into the halftime break down by two goals. Two second-half goals -- from Wiki Carmona and 16-year-old Julian Hall -- earned a draw for RBNY, taking a point home from Canada.

Wiki Carmona collected a deflected shot, smashing it into the top corner to halve the lead.

Hall scored on a ball that started from a corner kick, found the head of Cory Burke, and off the 16-year-old's head and into the back of the net.

"I mean, it's a surreal feeling, you know, getting a goal in a moment like that," Hall said. "I'm just really proud I got to score my first goal for the team."

New York had 24 shots on the night, 10 of them on goal.

Ryan Meara made a pair of saves on the night.

Hall is now the youngest scorer in club history, passing Eddie Gaven. He is second-youngest in league history to Freddy Adu, who scored at 14 years and 320 days old. Hall scored at 16 years and 87 days old.

"It's an honor to hear my name and that sort of category," Hall said. "It's a surreal feeling and I'm just really thankful. I'm grateful for an opportunity like this."

Burke tallied his ninth career MLS assist and his first with New York.

Ronald Donkor made his first career MLS start in tonight’s match.

“The individual development of Julian Hall, he’s 16 years old, it’s unbelievable,” Head Coach Sandro Schwarz said. “He’s a great person and he’s always listening [to] what we want to improve with him. It’s good and he has today an important goal. A good feeling. He’s a very important player for us."

Red Bulls Captain Sean Nealis made his 140th career appearance across all competitions for New York, which moves him into a tie for eighth place in franchise history for most matches played by a defender. Nealis also recorded his second MLS assist of the season and the seventh of his MLS career.

New York will host Toronto FC at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, June 22 for Fireworks Night presented by Audi. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
