The New York Red Bulls fell against Colorado, 5-4, on Tuesday night at Red Bull Arena.

The Rapids scored four consecutive goals from the 38th minute to the 89th minute to secure their first win of the season on the road.

New York struck early, using a deflected shot from Dru Yearwood in the sixth minute to take a 1-0 lead.

Aaron Long added his fifth of the season across all competitions off a header on a free kick to make it 2-0 after only nine minutes.

Colorado answered in the 21st minute, but New York once again took a two-goal lead thanks to a Lewis Morgan penalty kick.

Down two goals late in the match, Tom Barlow pulled the Red Bulls within a goal after converting his penalty kick in stoppage time.

New York thought it tied the game moments before the final whistle, but Barlow was ruled offside on his header that found the back of the net.

The Red Bulls continue MLS play on the road on Saturday, August 6 against DC United. The match gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
