HARRISON, N.J. (November 22, 2021) – The New York Red Bulls will open their 2022 MLS regular-season home slate against Minnesota United on Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. ET, Major League Soccer announced today. New York will begin the 2022 MLS season on the road for the first two matches.
In addition to the home opener on March 13, New York starts their 27th season in MLS on the road against San Jose on Saturday, February 26 at 6 p.m. ET and then at Toronto FC on Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m. ET.
The Red Bulls commence their 13th season at Red Bull Arena where they own the league’s most wins and points since RBA opened in 2010 at 120-34-41 (401 points). New York ended the 2021 season with a seven-match unbeaten streak (3-0-4) at home and a four-match clean sheet streak. The Red Bulls shutout streak at home currently spans 433 minutes.
