HARRISON, N.J. (March 23, 2021) – New York Red Bulls II will open the 2021 USL Championship season at MSU Soccer Park on April 30 against Hartford Athletic, USL Championship announced today. In accordance with current state policy, NYRB II will plan on hosting a limited number of fans at MSU Soccer Park for the first time since March 7, 2020.
NYRB II and Montclair State University are finalizing specific protocols to welcome fans back to MSU Soccer Park with health and safety as the highest priority. Specific protocols and information on health and safety changes to MSU Soccer Park, in-line with USL Championship guidelines, applicable state law and guidance from local health authorities, will be released prior to April 30. The date for tickets going on sale will be released in the coming weeks.
NYRB II are 2-1-3 in season openers and have posted a 2-1-2 record when opening the season at home.
