Jose Jimenez

Working with the U15 team this season has been a rewarding and enriching experience for Head Coach Jose Jimenez’s. ThIis was his first-year coaching at New York Red Bulls and he’s embraced the opportunity to help develop this talented and determined group of players, aiming to establish a culture that fosters individual and collective growth. As one of the key stages in their development, this age group represents an exciting phase where they can push players to elevate their performance and maturity on and off the pitch.

Their season promises exciting opportunities, starting with the MLS NEXT Maryland event, for which they are in a very good spot to secure qualification. Additionally, the group is setting their sights on the MLS NEXT playoffs, taking place in Nashville, Tennessee. These events are a testament to the hard work the team has already put in and offer a platform for them to measure themselves against the best academies in the country.

Looking ahead, the team’s development remains at the forefront of the group’s objectives. They’ll emphasize creating a cohesive playing identity that reflects the club’s philosophy of proactive, high-energy soccer. The goal is for players to outthink and outwork their opponents while building the mental resilience needed to succeed at the next level.

The Spring 2025 represents an exciting chapter in these players’ journeys. Jimenez is confident this group will rise to the challenges ahead, displaying the talent, dedication, and character that define the New York Red Bulls Academy. The head coach says “It’s a privilege to guide them through this pivotal stage in their development, and I’m eager to see how they continue to progress.”
