New York Red Bulls Head Coach Sandro Schwarz, midfielder Frankie Amaya, and goalkeeper Carlos Coronel were all named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 14, presented by Audi.
Schwarz led the Red Bulls to a 4-1 victory over Atlantic Cup rivals D.C. United at Audi Field and the club has scored four-plus goals in consecutive matches for the first time since 2022. The Red Bulls currently rank third place in the Eastern Conference with 23 points.
Amaya has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for the first time this season. He recorded two assists in the win against D.C. and has now tallied three assists on the season. This was Amaya’s fourth-career multi-assist match in MLS. Amaya assisted on both Elias Manoel’s goal and Cory Burke’s goal in last night’s match.
