HARRISON, N.J. (March 11, 2025) – The New York Red Bulls U-13 Academy team will travel to Malta to participate in the KHS Cup on March 15 and 16.

The KHS Cup is a yearly youth international soccer tournament founded in 2021. It has featured some of the top academies across the globe such as FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool, PSV and many more.

The U-13s have had a strong start to the season with a 4-1-1 record in MLS NEXT league play and an impressive +15 goal differential. The group has scored at least one goal in each of their first six matches, most notably tallying 10 against Beadling SC on February 1.

Group Stages

This year’s edition of the tournament has 25 teams divided into five groups. New York joins Juventus, Torino FC, Blackburn Rovers, and Parma Calcio as number one seeds.

New York was drawn into Group 1 and will play four group stage matches against Taurunium FC, St Denis FC, Kercem Ajax FC, and Hamrun FC on day 1. The winners of each group will advance to a new group with the winner of that group named champion of the tournament.
